No shoulds. Just possibilities.

Dear Reader,

January can feel like a list of things you “should” do.

What if we erased our "shoulds" and used January as a blank canvas instead?

The new year doesn’t need to come with pressure or perfection. I’m using January as a blank slate myself. I've decided to explorie small experiments both personally and professionally, noticing what feels good, and seeing what sticks. It’s an invitation for all of us to do the same.

Start small: a new morning ritual, a tiny shift in your routine, or even just noticing what feels good and what doesn’t.

Nothing has to be monumental. The blank slate is yours to play with as you see fit. And it can absolutely include coffee and cozy socks. ☕ 🧦

Here’s to curiosity and the space to create your year without rules.

With ease, Tracy

Dear Reader, A leader I work with shared a moment with me that was a true breakthrough. Two members of her team ran into a problem that needed solving. Historically, this would have been her cue to:➡️ Step in.➡️ Clarify.➡️ Translate.➡️ Smooth things over.➡️ Quietly absorb the stress so everyone else could move on. Instead, she tried something new. ✅ She listened.✅ She asked a few thoughtful questions.✅ She offered a couple of options. ✅ And then - brace yourself - she did nothing. No...

Dear Reader, I’m successful. I’m grateful. And still... I’m tired. Not "I need a nap" tired. More like "I rested all weekend and somehow I'm still tired" tired. I hear this from clients all the time, and when I do, I feel like somehow, many of us absorbed this unspoken rule: If you’re doing well, you don’t really get to be exhausted. If you’re tired, you must be ungrateful. Or dramatic. Or doing something wrong. So instead, we normalize pushing through. Functioning beautifully. Holding it all...

Dear Reader, People say this to me more often than you might expect: “You’re so confident.” And I always appreciate it. Truly. But it also makes me smile a little, because confidence is only part of the story. What people don’t see is the internal commentary. The quiet second-guessing. The mental replay of a conversation once it’s already over. From the outside, things can look calm and steady. On the inside, there can be a lot of thinking happening. I see this all the time with...
