Dear Reader, We all have those changes we say we want to make. And then… we’re faced with actually making them. The career pivot we keep researching, the big move we never quite commit to, or that big trip that always seems like a “someday” thing. But what if we stopped waiting for everything to be perfectly aligned and decided to leap anyway? I have a client who has spent a long time wanting to make certain changes in her life. One of the biggest ones? Buying a house. For months, she wrestled with finding the “perfect” place, the one that checked every single box on her list. In a recent session, she told me something unexpected: she had put an offer on a house just the day before. When I asked her what inspired her to take the leap, she told me that even though it didn’t meet every single one of her original criteria, when she visualized what life could be like there, she realized, “It’s going to be different, and that’s okay.” That moment when she embraced the unknown and moved forward anyway was huge. And she didn’t stop there. She also said yes to a friend’s invitation to join a 200-mile bike trip this summer. Two big, bold steps toward a more adventurous, fulfilling life. The Lesson? Change doesn’t always come when everything is ideal. It happens when we decide that different doesn’t have to mean bad. It can mean growth, excitement, and new possibilities. Your Turn: What’s something you’ve been holding off on because it’s not “perfect” yet or it’s not the “perfect” time? What if, instead of waiting, you took a step forward today? Hit reply and let me know: What’s one bold move you’re ready to say yes to? I'm excited to cheer you on! With ease, Tracy Forwarded from a friend? Subscribe to With Ease Bi-Weekly Newsletter here! Dear Reader, I was looking at my to-do list yesterday, and some of the things that I continue moving from page to page were staring at me with major side-eye. As I looked at all of the items I’d yet to cross off, I started noticing a few patterns: ➡️ I had scheduled more things for the day than I could actually handle. Am I a wizard? No. Then why do I keep doing this to myself? ➡️ Some tasks have been lingering for months. "Organize file cabinet" has basically become a permanent resident on...
Dear Reader, If you’re hearing the Talking Heads in your head right now thanks to the subject line of this email, you’re not alone. That lyric has been running through mine pretty constantly as I reflect on a new personal milestone: earning a new coaching credential, my PCC (Professional Certified Coach), through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Because five years ago? This wasn’t the plan. At the time, I was a research executive at a major media company, climbing the corporate...
Dear Reader, You know that person in your life who helped shape your values, your interests, your sense of humor, and even your music tastes? For me, that person is my mom. And seeing as today is her birthday, I want to take this opportunity to celebrate her. 🎉 You see, my mom is not only adorable (the woman is pocket-sized), she’s also taught me so much about what it means to be a strong, independent woman. So, in honor of her, here’s some wisdom that I’ve learned from her over the years. 🎉...
